A COVID-19 Update for CSA Customers

Dear Customer,

The health of our people, customers and communities is our main priority. As a CSA customer, we want to update you on how we are actively monitoring and managing the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

From 9 April we will be temporarily closing our offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle and Sydney. The only exception being our warehouse and respective operational teams that are required in CSA facilities. The majority of CSA staff have been performing their roles from home since 16 March. This was a pre-emptive measure taken to minimise any impact to our people and customers, and allow us to comply with ongoing government advice and respective legislation.

Our staff will continue to work at third-party sites only when essentially required, and only when meeting strict customer and CSA COVID-19 guidelines for doing so. Further to this, staff are being continuously updated on government guidelines in relation to hygiene and social distancing measures, and also instructed to adhere to travel limitations in accordance with new laws. As always, we encourage our staff to use collaboration technologies to work both internally and externally where suitable.

Along with having terrific people, we are fortunate to use some of the market’s leading remote working technologies. Working from home is already a common practice for many of our staff. We are also assisting customer organisations with their remote working solutions.

In terms of operational response capabilities, CSA has mature business processes with our quality and information security management systems being ISO9001 and ISO27001 certified respectively. The relevant people in our business are meeting frequently to review and refine contingency arrangements and continuity plans in the context of COVID-19.

While the coronavirus is first and foremost a health issue, many companies are seeing a global impact to supply chains as a result of it. As such, the lead-times and stock availability for certain products may be affected. To minimise any impact we recommend customers be proactive and forward-looking with their purchasing decisions and we will continue to work resolutely with suppliers.

Rest assured that we are working hard to preserve the well-being of people and organisations that we work with. Obviously these arrangements remain subject to change and we will continue to keep you updated.
